Description
BioGuard Balance Pak 300 is a calcium hardness increaser formulated for rapid dissolution and minimal cloudiness. It helps protect pool equipment, plaster, and liners from the damaging effects of low calcium hardness, including etching, staining, and distorting of the pool finish. A roughened plaster surface can cause discomfort to swimmers and also promote algae growth, making pool maintenance particularly difficult. This product enables users to achieve optimal water balance and get the most out of their pool chemicals.

Directions
- Turn the pump on and make sure the pool is sucking from main drain.
- Pre-dissolve this treatment in a 5 gallon bucket of tap water (keep in mind that heat is generated when this product contacts water.)
- Once pre-dissolved walk around the deep end pouring the solution into the pool (try not to get it on the pool deck.)
- Use surface compatible brush to brush away undissolved granules off pool surface.
- It is important that you do not see any white granules left over after brushing.
Dosage
- 1 lb per 10,000 gallons will raise calcium hardness 10 ppm.
- Calcium Hardness in pool water should be maintained in the 175-275 ppm range.
- Never allow calcium hardness to remain below 100 ppm.
