Description
BioGuard Balance Pak 300 is a calcium hardness increaser designed to help prevent equipment corrosion, etching of plaster and wrinkling of liners. Featuring a unique palletized formulation for faster dissolution and less cloudiness, this product is key to preserving pool water balance and consequently maximizing the results from chemical treatments. Low calcium hardness can lead to staining, etching, and distorting of pool finishes; resulting in an abrasive, uncomfortable and hard-to-clean pool experience.

Directions
- Maintain the calcium hardness in your pool water within the recommended range of 175-275 ppm to ensure optimal water balance.
- Avoid allowing the calcium hardness to fall below 100 ppm, as it can lead to potential issues.
- Add this product directly to the pool water by scattering it evenly over the surface.
- There's no need to predissolve the treatment, as it reacts with water to generate heat.
- Use a brush that is compatible with the pool surface to gently brush away any undissolved granules.
- To raise the calcium hardness by approximately 40 ppm, add 4 pounds of this product per 10,000 gallons of water.
- If you need to increase the calcium hardness by approximately 100 ppm, add 10 pounds of this product per 10,000 gallons of water.
Dosage
- 1 lb per 10,000 gallons will raise calcium hardness 10 ppm.
- Calcium Hardness in pool water should be maintained in the 175-275 ppm range.
- Never allow calcium hardness to remain below 100 ppm.
