This fitting worked great for repairing the return line on a fiberglass pool. I had to drill out the old pipe with a 2” bit while saving the flange on the backside. I was able to slide a 1-1/2” pipe in and glue it to this fitting. I was able to rotate the whole assembly and screw the new fitting in. I did have to use stainless screws to hold the flange on the backside in place. This was all done to avoid cutting the concrete patio.
