The CoverCradle II is designed with a single pneumatic gas shock system for ease of use. According to the manufacturer, the part is listed for 24" of clearance from the rear of the hot tub, however the cover flaps increase this to an approximate 27.5". This results in less fatigue and effort for the user when lifting and lowering the spa cover, for a smoother experience.
