Start-Up:

  1. Prepare your spa for a clean and fresh experience by cleaning its surfaces, back-flushing and cleaning the filters.
  2. Ensure that the pH and alkalinity levels of your spa are within the proper ranges.
  3. Add 1/2 oz of Spa 56 per 500 gallons of water to achieve optimal results.
  4. Circulate the spa or hot tub water for 5 minutes to ensure even distribution of the treatment.
  5. Maintain an ideal chlorine range of 2-3 ppm for a healthy and sanitized spa environment.

Weekly Maintenance:

  1. Regularly test your spa's water using spa test strips and make necessary adjustments as needed.
  2. Aim for an ideal alkalinity level between 80-120 ppm to maintain water balance.
  3. Keep the pH level in the range of 7.2-7.8 for optimal water quality.
  4. Maintain an active chlorine level between 2-3 ppm to effectively sanitize the water.

Superchlorination:

  1. Periodically perform superchlorination, also known as "shocking" your spa water, to eliminate any buildup or contaminants.
  2. Test the water using spa test strips and adjust as needed before superchlorinating.
  3. Add 1 oz of Spa 56 per 500 gallons of water to achieve the desired results.
  4. Resume your regular maintenance program once the chlorine residual reads 2-3 ppm.
Dosage

Add 1/2 ounces of this product per 500 gallons of water to increase the chlorine residual from 2-3 ppm.
