Directions
To keep the pH value of the swimming pool in a stable condition, it is important to maintain the total alkalinity value between the levels of 75 ppm to 125 ppm.
1. Determine the level of total alkalinity in your pool by the use of a suitable test kit.
2. If the value is below 75 ppm, add a quarter of GLB Alkalinity Up by pouring it directly into the pool to increase the total alkalinity (add more if test levels are really low)
3. Leave pump running for at least 12 hours for the material to distribute uniformly before rechecking the alkalinity level.
Dosage
1 1/2 lb per 10,000 gallons of water to raise alkalinity 10 ppm.
