Directions
Before using GLB Large 3" Tablets for the first time, follow these essential steps to ensure optimal pool water balance:
Balance Your Water – Test and adjust the pH level between 7.2 and 7.8 using a reliable test kit. Ensure the total alkalinity is at least 100 ppm for proper stability.
Add Stabilizer – Treat the pool with 30 ppm stabilizer as recommended on the product label. Regular use of these tablets will help maintain proper stabilization.
Shock Your Pool – Perform an initial shock treatment to achieve 4 ppm of free chlorine before starting daily chlorination.
Ongoing Maintenance
To maintain a consistent chlorine level of 1-1.5 ppm, use a floater, feeder, or skimmer to dispense the tablets.
Add one tablet per 5,000 – 10,000 gallons of pool water, adjusting as needed for continuous sanitation.
DO NOT place tablets directly into the pool, as this may cause staining or damage to the liner or surface.
Shock treat at least twice a month, or more frequently in hotter climates or during heavy pool usage, to prevent algae growth.
