Application Instructions:

For Cartridge Filters and Removable D.E. Elements:

• Remove filters and place them in a suitable plastic container

• Prepare Filter Cleanse solution and fully submerge the filters. ( We recommend three 2-LB bottles for four large filters)

• Allow to soak for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight

• Rinse thoroughly with clean water and reinstall

For Sand Filters and Non-Removable Elements:

• Backwash and drain the filter, then close the drain valve

• Mix Filter Cleanse at a rate of 1 lb per 5 gallons of water

• Add enough solution to cover the sand bed

• Let stand for approximately 12 hours

• Backwash until the water runs clear and return the system to normal operation
