Instructions for Use
Regular Maintenance:
1. Dosage: Add 1 lb. per 10,000 gallons of pool water in a single application.
2. Application: Evenly distribute the granular product directly over the pool surface.
3. Safety Precautions:
- Only apply when the pool is not in use, as chlorine levels will temporarily rise.
- Do not enter the pool until chlorine levels drop to 2 ppm or lower.
4. Ongoing Maintenance: Maintain a chlorine residual of 1.0 - 3.0 ppm between treatments.
Winterizing Instructions:
1. Ensure the pool water is clear and clean before treatment.
2. While the filtration system is running, add 0.8 oz. per 1,000 gallons to achieve a 4 ppm chlorine residual (use a test kit to confirm).
3. Follow manufacturer guidelines to properly prepare and cover the pool, heater, and filtration system for winter.
Important:
- Never mix with other chemicals.
- Do not add this product to feeders, skimmers, or floaters.
- Always apply directly to pool water by scattering over the surface.
