Installation Tips

For the best filtration performance:

  • Turn off the filtration system before servicing.
  • Remove and dispose of the old cartridge.
  • Clean the filter tank thoroughly before installing the new element.
  • Insert the CX150XRE cartridge into the housing and securely reassemble the filter.
  • Clean the cartridge periodically according to Hayward's recommendations and replace it when cleaning no longer restores optimal performance.
