Experience the incredible cleaning power of BioGuard PowerFloc, the ultimate solution for excessively cloudy water in your pool. This remarkable product is specifically designed to tackle cloudy water issues that may arise after a rainstorm or during periods when your pool pump hasn't been running. With PowerFloc, you can restore crystal clear water to your pool in no time.

PowerFloc is a highly effective flocculant that works by quickly settling suspended particles to the bottom of your pool. Whether it's debris, dirt, or other contaminants causing the cloudiness, PowerFloc goes to work, facilitating their easy removal through vacuuming or automatic cleaning. The unique strength of PowerFloc is particularly evident when there is a high amount of debris in the water, as it accelerates the clearing process. Trust in the power of BioGuard PowerFloc to transform your cloudy pool into a pristine oasis, ready for your enjoyment.

Directions

  1. Shake well before use.
  2. Check and clean the filter if necessary.
  3. Adjust pH to 7.5-8.0 for best results.
  4. Use 8 fl. oz. of PowerFloc per 10,000 gallons of water.
  5. Remove skimmer basket and any product in the skimmer.
  6. Slowly pour PowerFloc into the skimmer while the pump is on and the filter valve is in recirculate or whirlpool position. If your filter doesn't have a recirculate position, backwash first, then dilute PowerFloc in a large plastic pail of water (8 fl. oz. of PowerFloc per 1 gallon of water) and apply evenly over the pool's surface.
  7. Allow the pump to circulate water for 2 hours to distribute PowerFloc throughout the pool.
  8. Turn off the pump and let PowerFloc settle debris to the bottom undisturbed for 12 to 24 hours (usually overnight).
  9. Vacuum all settled debris with the filter in waste or drain mode.
  10. Backwash and clean the filter with BioGuard Kleen-It and resume the normal filter cycle.
  11. Check and readjust pH to 7.2-7.6.

For Water with Algae:

Note that PowerFloc does not kill algae but helps remove dead algae after treatment. Use specific algae treatments from BioGuard for algae control. Once the algae treatment is complete, follow steps 1 to 8 as mentioned earlier for cloudy water.

Dosage

8 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water.
