Directions
- Clean or backwash your pool filter to ensure optimal filtration efficiency.
- Calculate the required amount of SeaKlear PhosKlear 4000 based on the dosage guide provided.
- Pour the calculated amount of SeaKlear PhosKlear 4000 into the pool, distributing it as widely as possible for even dispersion.
- If the pool water still appears cloudy after 24 hours, treat it with SeaKlear Natural Clarifier at a rate of 2 ounces per 5,000 gallons of water.
- Run your filter system continuously for at least 24 hours to allow the products to circulate and work effectively.
- Monitor the filter pressure, and if it increases by 10 psi above the normal level, clean or backwash the filter to maintain proper operation.
- Wait for 48 hours before testing the phosphate level using a phosphate test kit approved for swimming pool use. If the test reveals a need for further treatment, reapply SeaKlear PhosKlear 4000 as necessary.
Dosage
Weekly Dose:
2 oz per 10,000 gallons of water.
Treatment Dose:
8 oz per 1,000 ppb of phosphates per 10,000 gallons of water.
Use the siding chart on bottle to determine the proper amount to add based on current phosphate levels. (Example: For a 10,000 gallons pool with 1,000 ppb of phosphates, use 4 oz of SeaKlear PhosKlear 4000).
