Directions

  1. Clean or backwash your pool filter to ensure optimal filtration efficiency.
  2. Calculate the required amount of SeaKlear PhosKlear 4000 based on the dosage guide provided.
  3. Pour the calculated amount of SeaKlear PhosKlear 4000 into the pool, distributing it as widely as possible for even dispersion.
  4. If the pool water still appears cloudy after 24 hours, treat it with SeaKlear Natural Clarifier at a rate of 2 ounces per 5,000 gallons of water.
  5. Run your filter system continuously for at least 24 hours to allow the products to circulate and work effectively.
  6. Monitor the filter pressure, and if it increases by 10 psi above the normal level, clean or backwash the filter to maintain proper operation.
  7. Wait for 48 hours before testing the phosphate level using a phosphate test kit approved for swimming pool use. If the test reveals a need for further treatment, reapply SeaKlear PhosKlear 4000 as necessary.

Dosage

Weekly Dose:

2 oz per 10,000 gallons of water.

Treatment Dose:

8 oz per 1,000 ppb of phosphates per 10,000 gallons of water.

Use the siding chart on bottle to determine the proper amount to add based on current phosphate levels. (Example: For a 10,000 gallons pool with 1,000 ppb of phosphates, use 4 oz of SeaKlear PhosKlear 4000).
