- Turn the pump on and make sure the equipment is working properly (backwash filter if needed.)
- Apply Smart Shock in a circulated area of the pool by broadcasting it as you walk around the pool. Please keep in mind that the dosage is 1lb per 12,000 gallons of water.
- If you see granular build-up in the bottom of the pool please brush the shock in until it dissolves completely. If not, it may tarnish the finish of the pool.
- Please run the pump continuously for at least 48 hours. Keep in mind that it is safe to swim after 15 minutes of application.
